Tips for organising activities

On this page you can find suggestions for activities you can organise to help and celebrate the Baltic Sea.

Organise

Maritime activities

Do a sea‑related action and organize a small event for a group that matters to you: joint bike maintenance for commuting cyclists, a lunchtime litter‑picking session, a Baltic Sea quiz on the intranet, a webinar… anything that celebrates the sea! Below we’ve gathered tips to help you find ideas for celebrating Baltic Sea Day.

Whatever fun you come up with, you can register it as a Baltic Sea Day action or share the atmosphere on social media with the hashtag #balticseaday. Different challenge campaigns, Baltic Sea lessons at educational institutions and other similar activities that are not aimed at the general public are also registered as Baltic Sea Day actions.
